How to Order Components for Free-Standing Handrails

Use the following railing components guide to assist you in ordering the necessary components to build your free-standing handrail. These examples are based on free-standing railing systems of a particular size, but are helpful in determining the components required to construct any size free-standing handrail.

These examples are based on our maximum recommended post spacing of 48". You may choose to order an 8-ft. railing with four posts (approximately 25" post spacing), which would require one additional post, top mount bracket/post plate with cover, tee tube connector, and/or top rail bracket.
